Power does not make
one victorious,
Terror does not triumph,
Path to victory is in defense,
It is easier to stop than to score,
To halt than to attack.
Force Defensive Philosophy
Identify your opponent's weaknesses and tendencies. Do they prefer
to go left? Go right? If they like to go right, then you make them
go left. If they can shoot, then make them drive... Make your opponent
do things they are not comfortable with.

Force Defensive Stance
Feet shoulder-width apart so you can react a little bit better,
one hand mirroring the ball and the other hand trying to knock the
ball loose from underneath. Don't trying knocking the ball from
the top because that's how you'll foul the opposing player.

Force Defensive Vision
Use your peripheral vision to keep an eye on your man and the ball.
Don't turn your head left and right because that split second you
lose sight of your man or ball is when you realise you're in a disadvantageous
situation. It only takes a split second for someone to score on
you.

Force Team Defense
Whether it's one pass away or two passes away to your man, you must
always maintain visual contact with your man and the ball. If the
offensive player attacks, then you react by step-sliding towards
them and still maintain vision of your man.

Force Defensive Awards
Treasure thy defensive awards for they are difficult to come by
and require great effort. Any fool can shoot a ball but not many
can stop the offensive player from doing the things they want.
