1995 Air Jordan 11 Black/Varsity Royal-White "Space Jam"
Extremely rare customs made for MJ in the movie Space Jam back in 1996. Only 5 pairs were known to exist. The "23" at the back heel counter is stitched-on instead of ironed-on as in the 2001 retros. The jumpman logo colour is purple concord instead of the royal blue one in the 2000 retros. Also the bottom soles are concord purple instead of royal blue. The pictures will tell you that the purple jumpman logo is not a myth. They were specially made for Jordan and a few pair were worn by him during the movie. This deadstock pair was auctioned by Platinumgold24k on eBay Feb 2004 for US$11,100. Note that the size is US13, Mike wears US13.5 but maybe 13 fits him without the orthotics...



Another pair auctioned by k_town_hu$tler on Feb 22, 2004 was apparently game-worn by MJ. Michael wore these while filming the first part of his movie Space Jam. This pair was worn inside the the Jordan Dome (a stadium that was built inside the Warner Bros Studios in Burbank, CA). These were give by Michael to Darian Braddy whose mother is a close friend of MJ. Darian was MJ's personal wardrobe stylist. The shoes were given on the set of Space Jam. MJ also gave a pair to Darian's mother, Yolanda Braddy. So Darian has 2 pairs in his family's possession. This pair was traded to k_town_hu$tler for a car (Honda Civic).
