Jordan's last game
The AJ 18 are a better pair of shoes than the 17. Inspired by the sleek lines of the Lamborghini Murciélago. The low, flat profile and tiny winglets at the side of the shoes make it real.

The tiny winglets that pop up at the side of the car when it reaches 130km/h and opens fully at 220km/h.

The XVIII also incorporates design elements from F1 racing boots, as per the "balance point" in the rear heel counter rubber extending midway up. You get incredible grip from the super sticky soles. And they are damn comfortable especially with the Carbon Comfort Plate.
The XVIII driver's manual
It's less gimicky as well. No more metal case and instead a nice custom box that you slide in/out like a drawer. Easy storage of the shoes when you're not wearing them. However, I wished they gave a CD on the shoes instead of a "Jordan 18 Driver's Manual". A leather suede brush for cleaning is also included.

The uppers are one-piece leather suede. The ankle area had two triangular vents to allow the foot to "breath" better. There is a metallic mesh material covering the vents and the lace area. The mesh acts as a heat conductor too to keep it cool. The soles are made from super sticky "crystal rubber". That rubber will attract dust like a magnet. But if used indoors, it'll give max traction. It's probably the best gripping AJs ever made. Don't think it'll be good to use outdoors on the blacktop (bitumen basketball court). The rubber will wear down pretty quickly because it is quite soft.
