Thanks to Kingcrux31 (a Niketalker) for these pics of the AJ 20. What are your first impressions on the shoes? The 20s look digusting to me. The black mini-rand around the toe box and the lasered midfoot strap spoils the clean look of the shoes. Looks like a pair of girls shoes with that red cobec ankle strap. And when I heard Tinker was coming back to design AJ, I was anticipating something horrendous. But nothing as strange and weird looking as these. It's like deja vu, the last time I felt like this was when the AJ 4 and AJ 5 released back in the late 80s. I thought AJ 4 was gimmicky like a womens shoes (those plastic stabilisers look strange). Then the White/Red AJ 5 was released and I thought the clear soles and reflective tongue made it look gay. But now, look at what's happened to the AJ 4 and 5, they are HOTTT!!! What was ugly and gay back then, is now hot!?!

Maybe in 8 to 10 years time, the same thing will happen to the AJ 20. What the heck do I know, people's opinion about AJ 20 will become more positive and these kicks may be the hottest shoe in this new decade of Air Jordans... deja vu
